Valley of Words and NDLI present ‘Afternoons with an Author’ featuring author Hindol Sengupta and his book ‘Sing, Dance and Pray: The Inspirational Story of Srila Prabhupada Founder-Acharya of ISKCON.’ in conversation with Milee Ashwarya, coming SUNDAY, the 29th of January from 3pm onwards.

Sing, Dance and Pray: The Inspirational Story of Srila Prabhupada Founder-Acharya of ISKCON is an interesting biography of the founder of International Society for Krishna Consciousness ISKCON or the ‘Hare Krishna Movement’ A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. Retracing the steps of Swami Srila Prabhupada who entered New York City on September 17, 1965, with a mission to introduce teachings of Vedic India to mainstream America, and to his passing away at the ripe old age of eighty-one on November 14, 1977 and beyond. The book is dedicated to the legend whose mission has grown into a worldwide confederation of over a hundred ashrams, temples and cultural centers and counting.

This unique book has received accolades from a wide range of authors, readers, critics and readers spanning generations.
