NDLI at the 53rd New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF) 2026

The National Digital Library of India (NDLI) participated in the 53rd New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF) 2026, held from January 10 to 18, 2026, at Hall # 5, Stall # A-16 in Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.


The NDLI stall at NDWBF 2026 was unique in terms of looks as well as content – visually engaging (selfie corner, informational standees, and digital displays), live demonstrations (using laptops, tablets, and printed brochures) alongside live quizzes and an abundance of attractive prizes truly bridged the gap between digital knowledge resources and end users.



The 9-day-long literary extravaganza was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, on 10th January, and incidentally, it was a proud moment for NDLI (developed and maintained at IIT Kharagpur and sponsored by the Ministry of Education) to receive the prestigious SKOTCH Award for Digital Library on the same day.



Visitors to the stall included students from all ages and domains, scholars, writers, academicians, publishers, professionals and book lovers from across the globe, while the stall aligned with NDLI’s vision of providing free and equitable access to quality educational resources for learners across the country in addition to its vast collection of multilingual digital resources, academic books, journals, theses, and audio visual learning materials, cultural, academic as well as competitive examinations and judicial resources.
