Objectives of the Workshop
The Workshop will offer intensive training for library professionals and Information scientists in digital repository management. Participants learn
through hands-on experience and expert instructions. The summer school will cover the following topics:
- NDLI & NDLI Club
- IDR Hands-on Training
- National Digital Library – Vision, Mission, Overview, and Design
- Metadata Envelope for NDLI
- Role of Contributing Institutions
- Installation and Configuration of DSpace
- Registry Process of NDLI Metadata Schema into Installed DSpace
- Uploading Metadata as per NDLI Schema
- Dsapce Advance Administration
Workshop Organizers
The workshop will be conducted by the Ranganathan Library, Computer Centre, and professionals from the NDLI Project, IIT Kharagpur. Training and lectures will be delivered by experts from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (W.B.)
