Hands-on expertise in quite a few of the following areas:
- Enterprise operating systems (Unix/Linux and Windows), applications and network (local area and wide area)
- Cluster Management, Cloud based software installation and other Client/Server installation
- Virtual Machines, installation and maintenance for 24X7 operation
- Storage Administration (installation and maintenance of NAS and SAN) with understanding of storage technologies, memory management and disk arrays
- Database Management System, SQL and routine maintenance, recovery, and handling failover of a Database
- System security and state-of-the art IDS / IPS
- DNS & Mail Server administration
- Scripting (Bash-Shell, Perl)
- Troubleshooting and debugging hardware and software installation by analysing logs
- Configuration and maintenance of Switch, Router and Firewall
Skills/Experience
- Relevant Experience: 2 years and above; seniors welcome
- Good analytical capability and excellent problem solving aptitude
